About Michelle Reyes
Greetings and thank you for visiting my site!
I hope that my blogs can be inspiring to you as I share my intimate journey in my fight against breast cancer. For those who don’t know me, My name is Michelle Reyes, 29 years old, and on 4/29/09, I was diagnosed with Stage III Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (this is considered early stage breast cancer). I will be undergoing a series of treatments for the next year-to name a few- Chemotherapy, Surgery, and Radiation along with other tests to monitor the growth of my 4.5 cm tumor. Someone once told me that although I have cancer , IT does NOT have me. Having said that, let’s kick this cancer to the curb and promote breast care awareness. Remember, this is not only my fight but all the women and men in our lives, mothers, sisters, friends, relatives etc. Cancer does not discriminate so just because you’re young, it doesn’t mean you’re off the hook! (I’m a prime example). Please check your breasts often and get mammogram! Cancer is a silent creeper so EARLY detection is key! Thank you to my gracious God, loving family, fantastic friends, faith, prayer, and all your constant support & positive energy!! You all ROCK and I’m truly blessed that you are a part of my life. Love you all!
P.S. My official BC mascot is my pink bear “HOPE” so you’ll see her pop in and out of my blogs just like this photo. =)

No hair!
